Install the WooCommerce plugin
Install, connect, verify and safely upgrade mandate0 for WooCommerce.
Requirements
- WordPress 6.2+, PHP 7.4+, and WooCommerce 6.9+.
- A working HTTPS store and permission to install plugins and manage WooCommerce.
- The
m0_store_key from Storefronts → Connect store in mandate0.
Use the release ZIP supplied through the official distribution channel. Do not assume a WordPress.org listing exists. For a signed release, verify its detached signature with the approved release signer. A locally rebuilt ZIP is not evidence of signing.
Install and connect
- In WordPress admin, open Plugins → Add New Plugin → Upload Plugin.
- Upload the release ZIP, install it, and activate it with WooCommerce active.
- Open mandate0 → Overview.
- Paste your store key and choose Connect store.
- Wait for the first catalog sync, then review all readiness items.
If your operator supplies a custom Platform URL, configure that integration setting. Use the backend origin, rather than the marketing or documentation site.
Plugin screens
| Screen | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Overview | Connection and onboarding readiness |
| Agent storefront | Products available to agents |
| Orders & carts | Checkout and order evidence |
| Activity | Requests and integration events |
| Selling controls | Visibility and sales rules |
| Payments | Stripe Connect checkout readiness |
| Developer | Endpoint details, diagnostics and optional telemetry |
Verify
- Open your store's
/.well-known/ucp. Expect a JSON profile, rather than cached HTML or a login prompt. - Compare a published product in Agent storefront with WooCommerce. Change its stock or description and confirm a later sync reflects it.
- Complete Payments readiness separately before a live checkout.
/wp-json/mandate0/v1/stripe-connect/checkoutdescribes checkout payloads; its existence does not charge a card. - For discovery 404s, save WordPress permalink settings and check rewrites, caching and security rules before reinstalling.
Product changes are queued with bounded retries. A full reconciliation runs every 15 minutes. Investigate delayed scheduled actions and connection status before disconnecting the store.
Privacy
Catalog data and the storefront profile are sent to mandate0. Agent observation records recognized requests to catalog pages, including path, search information, user-agent and declared profile; it excludes checkout, cart, account and admin pages. Usage analytics is opt-in and off by default. Developers can disable observation with the m0_agent_observer_enabled filter. Read the bundled readme.txt for the full external-services disclosure.
Upgrade
Install and activate the mandate0 ZIP over a supported legacy installation. The compatibility entry preserves connection keys, signing identity and settings. Existing aa_store_ keys remain supported. Do not uninstall the old plugin first: uninstalling can remove data required by the upgrade.
See troubleshooting for failed connections and stale products.
