Store setup

Install the Shopify app

Authorize the app, connect your shop and check readiness.

Before installation

Use the installation link supplied for your shop by mandate0. The app source and deployment tooling exist; this does not establish a public Shopify App Store listing. You need installation permissions and your m0_store_ connection key.

Install and connect

  1. Open the supplied install link while signed into the correct shop.
  2. Review and approve the Shopify permissions.
  3. Open Apps → mandate0 in Shopify admin. The embedded app may require reauthentication when opened directly.
  4. Open its connection controls, paste your mandate0 store key, and choose Connect store.
  5. Wait for full sync. Use the connection test and sync controls to check status.
  6. Review Agent storefront, Selling controls and Payments.

Shopify sessions and shop configuration are stored server-side. Keep Shopify tokens and app secrets out of public storefront code and the docs site.

Verify discovery and updates

The default Shopify App Proxy exposes the storefront profile at /apps/aa and checkout capability payloads at /apps/aa/checkout on your shop's public domain. The legacy aa path is intentional compatibility naming. If you changed the proxy prefix in Shopify, use that configured path.

Check the public profile and compare a known product's price, currency and stock with Agent storefront. After initial sync, product create/update/delete and inventory webhooks maintain catalog data. Inspect the last full-sync time when investigating stale data.

Payments and billing

Store connection and Stripe Connect payment readiness are separate. The checkout proxy prepares a contract; it does not sign payment authorization or charge a payment method by itself. Complete the Payments readiness steps.

During early access, Shopify subscription approval is required only when the operator enables the billing requirement. Shopify subscription billing is separate from customer checkout payments.

The app host's /healthz is an operator check, not the public shop proxy. A Google 404 there requires a deployed-revision and custom-domain check; reinstalling the Shopify app cannot repair routing.
